Cookie Decorating {Sam}

Sam was recently gifted a cookie decorating kit by Stephanie of Stephanie's Cookies.  Sam may be past the age that making cut outs is actually fun, but not too old that decorating these was fun for him.  For me, this kit took the hassle out of making and cleaning up; for me, it was simple: decorate and eat! I had fun photographing him and laughing with him as he mounded on the icing for his special cookie :)

Glam Session {Brooke}

Brooke came to see me for her Glam session.  I had never photographed anyone with blue hair before.......with her beautiful tattoos and blue hair she pulled this look off and was an absolute gorgeous model.

Cody & Taylor

Cody and Taylor exchanged vows on a hot afternoon overlooking the waters at The Bronson. They had many laughs and tears; a few flowers forgotten and much dancing on the dance floor. It was a beautiful day and fun had by all.

Alex & Mason {Engaged}

I go from watching my baby girl graduate high school to her leaving her freshman year to play softball in collage.  We go together on a trip to Guatemala, to her giving birth to my first grandchild and now to the next year of planning as they are engaged !!!

Billy {Senior Simple Studio}

I was fortunate to use Billy to try out my simple studio set up.  I can say it worked out pretty well :) How handsome is this kid?!?!

{Engaged}

A few pictures to showcase this gorgeous couple :)  I'm so excited to be shooting their wedding in the fall!

Guatemala

There are times that I am at a loss for words that describe how I am feeling; telling you about this trip is one of those.  I will blog about Sam's family at a later time.  For now, allow my pictures to tell you the story of my trip.

Sweet Baby Vinny, 2 months

Sweet baby Vinny is 2 months old.  This small baby melts my heart.  He spent 4 days in the hospital with RSV and is finally feeling better.  I wanted to take just few photographs before I leave next week for Guatemala.  How precious is he :)

Kelly's Tween session

Kelly and her beautiful twin girls came to see me for a tween session.  Both girls rocked their classic and casual outfits.  It's going to be hard for Momma to pick out her favorites!

{Lately}

This past fall has been my busiest yet.  I over-booked myself, as usual.  My free time was slim but as always a camera was kept close by.  I did make time to carve pumpkins and enjoyed several walks with 70 degree weather.

Alex's baby shower was held at Nolan's Barn in Wakeman.  Such a beautiful venue; I just wish I had hired a photographer to capture all that went into the planning.  I decided months ago that Alex's baby shower would be themed vintage, recycled and thrifted.  Almost everything that went into her shower was thrifted.  I purchased a hundred plus snack plates; vintage saucers for desserts and my cousin decorated the barn with flowers from her garden.  It was simply beautiful.

I am extremely thankful for all of my photography, but I am ready for a break.  With Alex due in the next few weeks it's time for catch up on my editing and then finally, my time to become "Gigi".

Dahl Wedding

I finally finished up this wedding session this weekend.   Here are a few of my favorite from their special day!

My weekend through pictures

Before our exchange student went back we decided to take a mini vacation to Hocking Hills.  We enjoyed a nice relaxing 3 day weekend of beautiful scenery and lots of hiking :)
